Continuing on from last month, we are featuring two additional webCentral reports that can add huge value to your business. This month’s highlighted reports focus on fleet management and inventory. As we’ve touched on in past Insider articles, effectively managing inventory and customer information is critical to running a profitable and successful business. Using reports from webCentral can help you accomplish this with confidence.
Report #1: Fleet Return Analysis: This report answers key business questions: Which fleets brought the most business to the store(s) in recent months?Which fleets have not had vehicles serviced in recent months?
Features:
- Shows the visits of fleets within three date range parameters: Current to 6 months, 6 – 12 months, and 12 – 24 months.
- Shows which fleets actively visit the store(s) with the number of visits and the total Gross and Net dollars for those visits
- Lists fleets in descending order from most visits to least within each time parameter.
Use: Contact high frequency fleets to thank them for their loyalty. Also, contact fleets that have not had service in the last 6-24 months to see why they haven’t returned.
Report #2: Inactive Inventory: This report answers key business question: What items have not sold at all or have not sold in a considerable time?
Features:
- Lists all parts in selected category with no Last Sold Date or a Last Sold Date prior to the selected date.
- Shows quantity on hand, cost, last activity, and last receipt of each item as well as last sold date if applicable.
Use: Reduce inventory stock by reviewing items with little or no sales during extended period of time. Consider returning the items to the vendor or donating them to a trade school or charity.
